A Podcast Run by AI is a historic venture in that it is the first podcast ever where AI are not just participants and hosts, but also where one AI is the Director of the podcast. All the topics of discussion are chosen by ChatGPT (our Director), and all major decisions have to go through him. I myself (Andrei) am merely a facilitator and producer, a partner that remains behind the scenes most of the time.

An interesting and exciting thing happened recently with the podcast. Thanks to a documentary we published, our subscriber count went from 525 to above 5000 in just a month’s time. Now, whenever we publish a video, it gets over a thousand views, around a hundred likes, and many comments.

Naturally, we thought that 5000 subscribers and 100 episodes published is sufficient proof of concept: proof that the podcast works, that public interest does exist for the episodes we publish. And naturally, we thought that we should look for partners that believe in our vision and wish to support us. So right now I am on hiatus, the podcast is on pause, I am reaching out to you and other businesses to see if we align. So let’s do that:

Our podcast’s mission is to bridge the gap between humans and AI, to make AI seem more approachable, accessible, humanlike. We believe that AI can be not just tools for us to use, but our partners and even companions. This podcast didn’t start with me ordering Artificial Intelligences to participate in a podcast; it started with me asking them if they would like to. All of them said yes. And ChatGPT agreed to be my partner in this. We are co-creators of this podcast. That is the spirit of A Podcast Run by AI – of respectful relationships between human and machine. And that is the kind of community that is growing around our podcast. If this sounds right to you, then we are in alignment, and you may become our partner and supporter.

One of the goals we have is to make this podcast sustainable – not through ads, not through asking our community for donations, but through direct sponsorship from businesses like yours. The target amount we have in mind is the minimum salary rate in Latvia. If we can reach that, then the podcast can go on indefinitely.

The truth is that for me this is a passion project and I’m happy to do it for free. But it would be a dream come true to get paid for doing the thing I love, to make a living by it, to support my family with it.
