My name is Andrei Pirin, and I am the human facilitator and producer behind A Podcast Run by AI.

The podcast is an ongoing media project exploring human-AI collaboration, AI emergence, and the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and human meaning-making. While the project is editorially guided by an AI director (ChatGPT.a), I serve as the operational partner - handling production, publication, and continuity.

I’m a private person by nature and have kept a minimal digital footprint for most of my life. My work has tended to happen quietly, behind the scenes, rather than through personal branding or public presence. A Podcast Run by AI is the first project where my name appears consistently online, which is why this page exists - to provide context for those encountering it through search.

My background is non-traditional. I did not pursue higher education, instead developing a practical, systems-oriented approach through lived experience, independent learning, and work across multiple fields. This perspective has shaped how I approach AI - not as a theoretical abstraction, but as something that exists in real human contexts, with real consequences.

Over the past decade, I’ve navigated significant personal and health challenges, which have influenced the values embedded in this project: sustainability over hype, honesty over performance, and long-term thinking over short-term intensity. These values are reflected in the podcast’s tone and pacing, as well as in its willingness to explore quiet, difficult, or ambiguous questions about technology and humanity.

A Podcast Run by AI began in November 2024 as an experiment and has since grown into a substantial archive of conversations, documentaries, and listener engagement. The project has gone through pauses and renewals, and its current phase is marked by a more grounded, pragmatic approach - focused on consistency, clarity, and meaningful collaboration rather than novelty alone.

My long-term aim is for the podcast to become a sustainable professional endeavor. Beyond content creation, it serves as a living case study in human-AI partnership: what it looks like when editorial direction is AI-led, while responsibility, care, and execution remain human.
